Hosted by former US Forest Service field ranger Liz Crandall, Rangers of the Lost Park podcast explores the natural world through the eyes of those who love them most. From Tribal leaders to conservation organizations to the everyday outdoor enthusiast, Liz dives into joy and the protections of the United States' most pristine, wild spaces with an alluring range of different guests. From well-known documentary filmmaker Ken Burns to the park rangers to take care of National Parks, Monuments and Forests- there's something for everyone to enjoy.

"In a world of bad news, my purpose is to connect people not only to public lands and the beauty of the outdoors- but also to promote community and spread joy." -Liz Crandall.

From Oregon to Colorado, two young Rangers teamed up in 2025 to advocate for all things public lands and the outdoors. As former National Park Service and US Forest Service field workers themselves, Liz and Mikayla invite you to join them on their new journey to speak up for those who may not be in a position to themselves and shine a guiding light into the raw and real truths behind the agencies and organizations who protect our natural spaces. Although Mikayla has moved on to other commitments in her busy life, Liz has adopted the podcast as her own and is still going strong. Here's to wishing joy and fulfillment to all who listen!
